Sol Housing Announces New Board Leadership for 2025

Albuquerque, NM, January 6, 2025 - Sol Housing, a leading non-profit developer of affordable housing in Albuquerque, is proud to announce its board officers for 2025. The Board of Directors, comprised of dedicated community leaders and housing experts, will play a critical role in propelling Sol Housing's mission of providing quality, affordable housing options for Albuquerque residents.

 


Experienced Leadership for Challenging Times:

Sol Housing welcomes Russell Brito, Land Use and Permitting Administrator at PNM, as its new Board President. Mr. Brito brings extensive experience in navigating the complexities of housing development within the city. Tessah Latson, a passionate inclusion advocate and previous board president, will serve as Vice President. Rounding out the officer team are Treasurer Elvira Lopez, Planning Manager at Bernalillo County and Secretary Sarah Hurteau, Principal Ecologist at Integrated Biological Solutions, LLC and Program Director at SIG-NAL (ecosystem science and conservation nonprofit).

 

A Diverse and Committed Board:

Joining the experienced leadership team are:

  • Don Dudley, Owner of G. Donald Dudley Architecture LTD

  • Ciaran Lithgow, Planner at Bohannan Huston, Inc.

  • Alan Vincioni, Berger Briggs Real Estate & Insurance, Inc.

  • Kim Miller and Yvette Sammons, Sol Housing Community Residents

The inclusion of Sol Housing residents on the board ensures that the organization's work remains directly responsive to the needs of the community it serves.
