Kaleena (she/her/hers) is a writer, editor, and marketing professional with more than ten years of experience in digital copywriting and communications.

A passionate storyteller at heart, Kaleena received both a BA and MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and Roosevelt University, as well as a Grant Writing Certification from DePaul University.

Over the course of her career, Kaleena has lent her talents to both the corporate and non-profit worlds in fields such as hospitality, finance, youth and community, higher education, and aquarium and museum development.

While receiving her master's degree at Roosevelt University, an institution known for and grown from social justice initiatives, she developed a passion for advocacy and interest in education, equity, and access, particularly in high-need communities.

Outside of work, Kaleena teaches and practices yoga, is an avid reader, and loves to spend time outdoors.
