Laurie (she/her) has dedicated her career to nonprofit leadership, demonstrating her expertise in strategic planning, staff development, and organizational growth. Her experience includes executive-level positions with prominent organizations like the YMCA of Central New Mexico, New Mexico Senior Olympics, Leadership New Mexico, and the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico. Laurie's comprehensive skill set includes marketing, communications, fundraising, event management, board development, and grant writing. At Sol Housing, she channels her passion for affordable housing to advocate for and advance its development in Albuquerque, believing it is essential for creating a better future for New Mexicans. She utilizes her community relations and marketing expertise to effectively communicate Sol Housing's mission and impact. Laurie holds her BA from the College of St. Scholastica and her MA from the University of Dayton. She serves on the executive committee of the Albuquerque Affordable Housing Coalition and is active in local politics. She loves her adopted state and spends much of her free time hiking, exploring, enjoying her east mountain home, and playing tennis.
